FORT WORTH - A Tarrant County jury heard two versions of a relationship between a 28-year-old woman and a teenager whose family she had befriended.

Ms. Sewell, a former teacher at Durham Elementary School in Southlake, took the stand late Wednesday and told jurors that the teen was the sexual aggressor and that she rejected his advances.

She is charged with three counts of indecency with a child and one count of sexual assault of a child. Each count carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
