We are living in a confused world where there is no difference between love and sex. The main problem is that we have forgotten the creator of all these things.

Young people are now being shaped by the media rather than the indigenous institutions that include family, church etc. These institutions have proved to be strong through passage of time.

Before a child of today is taught about lovemaking and kissing they have already seen it on television. As parents we have a duty to protect our children from watching ungodly movies.

By the look of things if we do not stand up as parents and pastors for the truth then the word love will soon fade away and that is the reason we have people married for 10 years and on the 11th year one partner says I no longer love you.

People must know that when they are entering the covenant of marriage they are getting into something that will bind them for the rest of their lives. That is why you say till death do us part.

If there is an understanding of love then it will be an answer to the HIV and AIDS pandemic that has wiped out the population in the fastest way ever seen.

In today's society we have to be careful otherwise we will lose the pillars that have made homes to last and families to be strong. The devil is up to destroying the family and lowering the standards that have preserved such institutions.

If we can have love is blind then we cannot see what we are seeing in Hollywood in America where people get married for two hours. We are also seeing celebrities getting pregnant and not knowing who the father of the baby is. To this generation that is an in- thing. God forbid.

The only sensible celebrities at the moment are Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett who have been married for a while now and I heard from the tabloids that Jada said she would give up action if it threatened her marriage and to me that shows she knows what is important.

However, I encourage the youth of today to be conversant with what is happening in the world without being taken by what I call ‘microwave' relationships.

Even when I was still a boy I never believed proposing and falling in love the same day was genuine even by worldly standards. Honestly is important because when you are doing something you are doing it for yourself not your friends.
